Hotel Miss Blanche, Business Guesthouse, and Student Guesthouse Terms and Conditions

The general conditions of Hotel Miss Blanche B.V. are inherent to the Uniform Conditions of the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) . The UVH are the terms and conditions on which hospitality businesses established in the Netherlands provide their services and conclude agreements. For the rental of apartments for a period of four months or longer, the terms and conditions as outlined in the model rental agreement application.

1. General Provisions 1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all guests staying at Hotel Miss Blanche, Business Guesthouse, and Student Guesthouse in Groningen (hereinafter referred to as “the Hotel”). 1.2 By confirming a reservation or checking in, guests acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. 1.3 The Hotel reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any significant changes.

2. Reservations and Payments 2.1 Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or advance payment as specified during the booking process. 2.2 Payment for the stay, including any applicable taxes and fees, is due at check-in unless otherwise stated in the reservation confirmation. 2.3 Cancellations and modifications are subject to the terms provided at the time of booking. Late cancellations, no-shows, or early departures may incur charges.

3. Check-In and Check-Out 3.1 Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. 3.2 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. 3.3 Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at (online) check-in.

4. Guest Responsibilities 4.1 Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of their accommodations. 4.2 Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. Violation of this policy will result in a cleaning fee of €250. 4.3 Pets are not allowed unless explicitly permitted in the booking terms. 4.4 Guests must respect other guests and staff by avoiding excessive noise and disruptive behavior.

5. Liability and Damages 5.1 The Hotel is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of guests’ personal belongings. Safes are provided for guest use where available. 5.2 Guests are liable for any damages caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment and will be charged accordingly.

6. Health and Safety 6.1 Guests must comply with all local laws, fire safety regulations, and emergency procedures. 6.2 In case of illness or injury, the Hotel may assist in contacting medical services but is not liable for any medical outcomes or expenses.

7. Privacy and Data Protection 7.1 The Hotel respects guests’ privacy and handles personal information in accordance with GDPR regulations. 7.2 Personal information collected during booking and check-in is used solely for administrative and communication purposes.

8. Force Majeure 8.1 The Hotel is not liable for disruptions or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations.

9. Governing Law 9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. 9.2 Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Groningen.

10. Acceptance of Terms 10.1 By confirming a reservation or staying at the Hotel, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
