Hotel Miss Blanche respects everyone’s privacy. Therefore, it has prepared a privacy statement, also for the purpose of the AVG law effective May 25, 2018.

Taking into consideration that
  1. Hotel Miss Blanche B.V.
    hereinafter referred to as Processor;
  2. Hotel stays, website visits, requesting information (including a quote, room availability), receiving a newsletter.
    hereinafter referred to as Service and Services;
  3. Person who visits the website, purchases a Service from Processor
    hereinafter referred to as Visitor.
The data to be processed

Processor requests data from Visitor in order to perform Service.

Payment details

Processor offers paid Services. For the authorization and actual payment of Services, Processor requests the following information from Visitor, and is required depending on the Service to be purchased:

  • Credit card type
  • Credit card holder
  • Credit card number
  • Credit card expiration date

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Only persons over the age of 18 may request a Service from Processor. Persons under the age of 18 require permission from a parent or guardian. Furthermore, Processor stores only the age data of persons under 18 years of age.

Purpose of processing

Processor requires the foregoing data for the following purposes:

  • Performing Services;
  • Execution of payment on behalf of Services;
  • Contact in case of damage, violation or loss.
Automated decision-making

Processor does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without a human (e.g., an employee of Processor) sitting between them.

How data is secured

Processor sets high standards for the security of Visitor data. Therefore, it is taking the measures below to ensure this security:

  • HTTPS protocol on the website. Data is sent over a secure connection;
  • The file server where Visitor’s documents are stored is protected by a firewall;
  • Payment data is stored encrypted and can only be viewed after logging in for a short period of time;
  • Employees of Processor are trained to handle data they process with discretion.
How long data is kept

Processor stores data indefinitely as it offers recurring Services.

The right to request data

Processor may provide Visitor’s collected data at Visitor’s request. However, this request must be endorsed on presentation of proof of identity.

The right to modify data

At the request of and in consultation with Visitor, Processor may modify Visitor data. However, this request must be endorsed on presentation of proof of identity.

The right to be forgotten

At the request of and in consultation with Visitor, Processor may anonymize Visitor data so that it cannot be traced back to Visitor.

Sharing data with third parties

With companies that process your data on our behalf, Processor enters into a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. At the request of and in consultation with Visitor, Processor may provide these agreements. However, this request must be endorsed on presentation of proof of identity.
