Hotel Miss Blanche is a luxury city hotel located on the charming Hoge der A in the center of Groningen. The hotel consists of 11 monumental buildings with a total of 62 unique rooms, suites, and apartments, each with its own character and interior style. This combination of historic architecture and contemporary design creates a special experience for both business and leisure guests.
In addition to the hotel, Miss Blanche offers a Business Guesthouse for corporate guests, a Student Guesthouse for long-term stays, and a Gym exclusively for guests. Our team stands for quality, personal service, and attention to detail values that guide every aspect of our hospitality.
Tasks & Profile
As a Housekeeping Intern at Hotel Miss Blanche, you will actively contribute to the high-quality standards of the hotel. Together with the housekeeping team, you ensure that rooms, suites, and public areas are clean, tidy, and perfectly presented.
You have an eye for detail, work accurately, and understand the importance of creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests. You will also learn how a professional hotel’s housekeeping department is organised from cleaning procedures to inventory management and quality control.
Your tasks and qualities include, among others:
- Cleaning and inspecting rooms, suites, and public areas
- Restocking linen, towels, and guest amenities
- Ensuring quality and presentation according to hotel standards
- Identifying and reporting technical or maintenance issues
- Supporting logistical and administrative tasks within the department
- Contributing ideas for improving efficiency and guest experience
- Working independently and carefully, with attention to detail and team spirit
- Being flexible, including availability on weekends and holidays
