Food & Beverages

The Miss Blanche Quarter has more to offer than hotel rooms alone: a bakery serving breakfast, a café for lunches, drinks and pubfood dinners, and a restaurant fine dining with exquisite wines.
At a stonethrow’s distance you will find two affiliated bars that are worth mentioning. A beautiful cocktail bar. And the city’s hotspot for ‘beer and pizza’ from the stone oven.

Bakkerij Blanche

The Bakery serves breakfast for our hotel guests, weekdays from 07-10 AM, weekends and holidays from 08-11 AM.
After breakfast the Bakery is open for lunch or coffee throughout the afternoon.

Café De Sigaar

Café De Sigaar

De Sigaar opens daily from 11 AM, serving coffee on the terrace alongside the canal, but also a lovely lunch, drinks at the bar, or an honest pubfood dinner.

De Pijp Wine & Dine

De Pijp Wine & Dine

For fine dining with excellent wine-pairing, Restaurant De Pijp is located just alongside the hotel’s reception. It opens Tuesday trough Saturday, from 6 PM.
We do advise you to make a reservation, either via reception or online.

Bar Cinq

Bar Cinq

Miss Blanche’s youngest sister is Bar Cinq: a stylish cocktailbar, a short strawl away from the hotel. Bar Cinq opens Tuesday through Saturday from 4 PM until late and welcomes you for an aperitif, after dinner drinks, or anything in between.

De Uurwerker

De Uurwerker

De Uurwerker is more than just a café: it is a hotspot in Groningen’s University Quarter, offering a ‘Chesterfield bar’, the best pizza’s from a stone oven, a deejay, and a large sheltered terrace.
De Uurwerker does not take reservations, but with some patience (and a beer at the bar) you will always find a table. The café opens daily from noon.
